"Riverview" is an authentic log cabin perched on a cliff overlooking the South fork of the Shenandoah River. This magical
retreat originally built in 1950 and partially renovated in June 2010 is located approximately 7 miles south of Front
Royal, Virginia known as the "Canoe Capital of Virginia". From the stone front porch catch a glimpse of the river and the
beautiful Massanutten mountain range through the trees at this special secluded hide-away.
Front Royal, Warren County and the surrounding area are rich in history and natural beauty and offer many unique and varied year round
recreational and leisure activities sure to satisfy our visitors. Locally, the warmer weather invites canoeing, tubing, kayaking,
hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and golf and the cooler temperatures yield opportunities for skiing, wine tasting, antiquing, and
site-seeing.
